10 recent professional and personal wins
#1 Maggie's Market still shooting in LA.
I just returned from L.A. after shooting another batch of Maggie’s Market episodes! This project is going on 4 years (!). Parents send me videos from all over the world (most recently South Africa) of their tiny fans doing the theme song AND we have lots of reports of Maggie’s Market birthday parties. SO MANY exciting developments in the works for this show! Stay tuned!

#2 Morgan Freeman muted me. And other bookings!
I booked a role as Angela Weintraub in Lioness on Paramount+. In the scene, Morgan Freeman and Michael Kelly watch us on tv, and Morgan says to “Turn that sh*t off”. I’ve never been so honored to be told to shut up. Ha! See IMDb here. I've also recently returned from Kentucky after shooting a Lifetime movie. Excited to share more once released!
#3 Sketch it, baby.
I was part of the cast of Most Likely Forever Yours, a sketch show that sold out ALL of our shows at AT&T Performing Arts. Shows sold out weeks in advance, and even hard-to-impress local comedy folks said it was like watching a live taping of SNL. There’s loud murmurings of another show later this year… Here's a song I wrote about people's social media life vs. real life. :)
#4 Fred Armisen sent Carrie Brownstein our pic!
My husband and I had the pleasure of meeting Fred Armisen on his recent comedy tour. We’re HUGE Portlandia fans, and we had made funny tribute shirts for a couple of their characters as an inside joke (having ZERO idea we’d ever meet Fred). Well, we DID meet Fred, and he thought the pic was so funny that he sent it to Carrie Brownstein. For context, the Kath and Dave characters drastically over-prepare for anything they do, even at a novice level, and Matt and I totally did that for our first proper ski trip in March.

#5 On the track at NASCAR!
One of my clients is Texas Motor Speedway, and I was very generously offered track passes for their main NASCAR event. I learned that "heart-pounding racing" (that I say in every spot with them) is an incredibly accurate way to describe it. Holy cow, the level of loud is unfathomable without having experienced it. I've also voiced for Vegas Motor Speedway...am I becoming "The Speedway Girl"? Heck yeah!

#6 Pull up your Shorts!
I was recently the lead of two short films. Satisfaction Guaranteed has loads of physical comedy and is ready for your viewing pleasure. If you have 6 minutes and wanna laugh, watch it here. Blind Date, a thriller about a...you guessed it...a blind date, will be released in the coming weeks. Let's just say you might see me in a new way after this one...
#7 Dune-buggies on the Beach.
My husband and I took an epic California road trip and went dune buggying on Pismo Beach. I’ve always been an adrenaline junkie, so this was right up my alley!
#8 Sang with Laura Hall from Who’s Line.
I took an incredible musical improv workshop with Laura Hall from Who’s Line Is It Anyway at The Comedy Arena. I got to sing with Laura Hall…I got to SING with Laura Hall…I got to sing with LAURA HALL. And she’s a gem. Bucket list item achieved!
#9 Gave Presentations I’d Never Seen.
Performed with People Presenting Things, where I did some solo improv giving a presentation I’ve never seen before. Each improviser introduces their character, and the slides just start coming! And you have NO idea what’s next. It's an absolute blast. And I also got to put my vintage shirt collection on display (I always wear vintage shirts in my live comedy performances).

#10 Screened at The Comedy Film Festival.
I was in Jackpot which screened at The Comedy Film Festival in Austin, TX with one of my best friends, Wanetah Walmsley. We have more projects in the works, and I can't wait to share! I highly recommend making art with your incred Stay tuned!
